While I adore capturing newborns in their first few days in this world, I also absolutely adore photographing families, especially families with young children. Probably partly because I’m in that stage in my own life so I can relate, but partly because there’s something so sweet and wonderful about young families. So many little laughs and giggles and special moments and that look in a baby’s eyes that says it all, that Mama and Dada are the end all, be all, supreme beings, no one can top 🙂 And the newness is also a symbol of beginning journeys and new hopes. The parents on their journey of parenthood, a few pages into the new chapter in their life, and their hopes for their own future as well as their baby’s future . . . Makes my heart all happy and mushy. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting this family of three, so much love and compassion flowing between them. So sweet and so fun. Lots of laughs and hugs. And even one sleeping baby. 🙂 I can honestly say that they are now my friends.
