As a family photographer, it’s always such an honor to have a family ask you to photograph them.  To know they will have those portraits for years to come, gracing holiday cards, as portraits on walls in their home to enjoy every day, sharing with friends and family, and one day making it into an album or a keepsake box or that is taken with as the kids head to college, to their first apartment and one day sharing photos of them as kids with their own kids.  A. complete. honor.  This session was especially wonderful because they wanted unposed portraits of them interacting as a family to capture who they are, a loving, fun, silly, and connected family.  Not worried about the “perfect” image of everyone smiling and looking at the camera.  Loved spending time with them, watching them laugh and snuggle.  Their happiness and positivity was contagious.  And we finished the shoot with some ice cream, can’t beat that!  Thanks so much for inviting me into your world for a wonderful evening, A Family!  <3
