The majority of my clients come to me by referral, which is fantastic. Maya’s mom, Dina, called me after she saw her neighbor’s newborn photos, which is one of the highest forms of flattery. I loved meeting this little family. Dina is originally from Australia so she has a fabulous accent 😮 and their house is decorated with items that she and her husband have collected from their travels, especially Asia. It was eclectic and a breath of fresh air at the same time. Maya was super sweet to work with, as was her older brother, Julian. Sadly they moved to China shortly after our session, so I won’t be able to photograph them again unless they come back to Orlando for a visit or I, for some reason, travel to China, which you just never know. We’ll see if fate has it in store for us to meet again.
Seems that black/whites speak to me from this session, as that’s what I almost exclusively chose to share here. Love the simplicity, the elegance, the timelessness and the closeness between Maya and Dina. Oh yeah, and Maya’s eyes are stunning and I love how her little toes peek out in the second image down. Oh double yeah, Happy Mother’s Day, Dina!! Hope you have a wonderful day celebrating with your sweet family half-way around the World . . . xoxo
