This summer has been busy with underwater maternity sessions!  It’s always such a joy for me to get in the cool water at the springs with a client and capture their pregnancy in an artistic and unique way.  I love how the light and colors change throughout the session and how the sand can rise up and add texture to the images.  It’s a nice element you can’t capture when in a pool and brings an earthy element to the images we wouldn’t otherwise get.  It’s also a fun way to pay homage to where the client lives and where the baby will be born, as Florida is blessed with these beautiful natural springs with crystal-clear water, allowing us to capture portraits underwater.  Here is the beautiful Maryana’s session from earlier this summer.  How amazing does she look in these bright colors?!  She was a dream to work with and capture.  Her parents, the grandparents-to-be, were able to join us for the session, which was so special.  And the dad-to-be joined us for underwater images at the end.  xoxo
