For today’s blog I wanted to share this lovely maternity session. This sweet family was filled with so much love and kindness. They told me they wanted minimal posing so that their daughter could enjoy the session without pressure, so that we could capture them spending time together as a family with authentic expressions – my favorite approach to a session! It was especially fun getting to know them because they are Italian! And Italy just happens to be my favorite place in the world, well besides right here in Orlando with my friends and family of course. 🙂 But Italy, has my heart. I studied abroad in Florence in undergrad, one of the best times of my life. It was great fun to chat with this family about all things Italian, including my favorite foods. 😉 And then of course, the light! Gah, the beautiful, golden, warm, lovely light. Can’t beat that. Sad they are moving back though, as I would love to photograph them again and meet baby boy! Well, maybe, just maybe, they’ll ask me to fly to Rome to photograph them there. Yeah, that’s the ticket, I can see it now. Rome here I come!! 😉 xo
