Finally, FINALLY, I am SO pancake flippin excited to share this project with you and offer it as a product to my clients!! I had this idea about a year ago now and kind of mulled on it for a while, trying to figure out logistics and presentation. I tried it out a couple times but never made it far in the processing stage as I was held up by my lack of knowledge of certain software and with my crazy busy schedule, it always got put on the back burner. Then when I found out some friends of mine were pregnant, I knew they would be perfect to get my idea up and running again. And I was right . . . they were perfect for it. . . . <sigh>
You know that expression that “a picture is worth a 1,000 words”? Well, I wondered, what words would each photograph say? What would each person being photographed say about that moment being captured? About that time in their life? What if we could add words. . . their own words, in their own voice to describe the emotions and the meaning behind the photographs?
I love photography for the fact that you capture a split second in time to be preserved forever. But at the same time, life is not static. Life is fluid. Life is organic. And technology is multi-dimensional. The goal is provide a fuller, more complete story. YOUR Story, in Your Words.
Without further adieu . . . (ps. turn on your volume!!)
I am toying around with names for this product, so if you have any suggestions, please let me know!!
CLIENTS and POTENTIAL CLIENTS: If you are interested in learning more or would like information re: pricing, please email me at: info@rebeccajillphotography.com. This can be added on to your currently scheduled session, including the Baby Plan. It is NOT limited to newborns, and can be used to capture the voice of your little one as they begin to talk at their 1 year session, or to capture your family laughing and interacting at a family session. How nice would it be to have one made each year to professionally document a slice of that year in your family’s life together? After 5, 10, 20 years you can sit down and watch each one, witnessing each child grow and change, not just in their looks, but in their voice and in their words, and remember Your Story as it was and how it became part of your history and memories. xoxo
OTHER EXCITING NEWS: I am working with an awesome photographer and graphic designer to rebrand RJP to more fully encompass what I do and what I create. The creative juices have been flowing and I can’t wait to share it with everyone in a few weeks!! 🙂 So stay tuned!
